Pumpkin-scaping the sideboard
The fall holidays come fast and furious and it seems like we are hosting events every week through the season. As much as I'd like to decorate for each holiday, I was looking for a fresh, layered fall look that could see me through Halloween, Thanksgiving and all of the gatherings we have during these crisp autumn days.
I have a fun area in my dining room that was begging to be fall-ified. After exploring The Gypsy Wagon with Ashley from the Dallas store I came home with some awesome treasures. A little glass-topped jewelry tree with an antler and a golden bird head is both whimsical and edgy. Stacks of reclaimed library books in ivory, copper and gold made a perfect perch for some tiny velvet pumpkins. A fall spiced candle makes it smell like I've just baked gingerbread (which, let's be honest, won't happen this fall or any!). A big white vase was filled with dried flowers that look like tiny pumpkin-colored paper lanterns. A perfect pile of velvet pumpkins large and small are charming and plush and say Happy Thanksoweenmas.
All three Gypsy Wagon locations have fabulous finds to deck out your own special spaces. Let us know if we can help you create a personal nook.
