Dallas Local Fav: Local Press + Brew

With new restaurants and coffee shops opening every other day it is hard to stand out among the pack in Dallas. But Local Press + Brew does just that. It stands out, and makes you want to make it your new weekend chill spot.

With new restaurants and coffee shops opening every other day it is hard to stand out among the pack in Dallas. But Local Press + Brew does just that. It stands out, and makes you want to make it your new weekend chill spot.

Local Press + Brew is the first juice and coffee parlor in Dallas devoted to quality and local support. Located in trending Oak Cliff, LP+B has a major following. Their Instagram is filled with foodie pics, art, happy customers enjoying their day, cacti, and juices about town. Stesha Gearner and I (having heard the buzz they were making) made our way over on a late Sunday morning for a dream session & meeting of the minds. We could not have chosen a more inspiring venue.

Just walking into the building had us obsessed. The space is bright with natural light, minimally styled with a mid-century feel. Vintage mirrors and wire sculptures hang on the walls. Touches of plant life are spread around to make you feel at home.

Let us be real--We did not just come here to be inspired...We came to EAT. We came to drink juice. We came to caffeine up. And we were blown away by the menu! There are so many options. LP+B is organic and fresh, vegan friendly, and as they say "farm to bottle". (LOVE THAT!) We started with juice, and opted for the juice flight, which is tastings of 8 juices. We both loved getting to see what our favorites were and the ability to try so many. Most of the juices are named after nearby neighborhoods in the city - We loved The OC, Kessler Park, Bishop Arts, and Winnetka Heights. They were all deliciously refreshing, and super pretty.

Next came the coffee order. One vanilla latte and one matcha latte with almond milk. Their almond milk is made in house with organic almonds and lightly sweetened by organic dates. Yes please & thank you! The food. Guys... Simple and amazing. We shared Toast 4 which was a whole wheat piece of toast with almond butter, organic banana, and "Texas Honey Bee" honey. Decedent and perfect. We also split Toast 5 which was another slice of whole wheat toast with organic avocado, olive oil, red pepper, and salt. We cleaned up every dish we were served with smiling faces. "That was the bomb dot com." -Stesha

Now it is our goal to become regulars at Local Press + Brew. We left ready to come back! Be sure to add this to your must try list, Dallas! It is casual and easy, and filled with good vibes.
